The makeup foundation workshop is designed for both beginners & intermediate students of all ages wishing to learn how to apply makeup more confidently – learning how to apply primer, foundation & conceal flawlessly. Students will learn the benefits of primer and how to select & use foundation and concealer successfully to a more professional level using simple and quick makeup tips and techniques.

You will learn all the tricks of the trade to transform your look in minutes. By mastering the application of and blending Eye makeup, Highlighting, Shading and blushers Technics and achieving perfect lips. Get direct advice on your own makeup form, which products are best for you and how to bring out your very best features.

Warming and cooling colours (the colour wheel)
Colour-Correcting and concealing
Correct application and choice of foundation
Highlighting, Shading and blushers Technics
Achieving perfect lips
Application and blending of Eye makeup (Colour Wash, Block Eye, Smokey Eye and Socket Line)
Application of Eyeliners (Liquid, Cake, Gel, Crayon and Kohl)
Eyebrow Shaping
The application of false eyelashes both individual and strip
Client consultation techniques
Building your make-up kit
Retail makeup purchasing – selecting makeup in makeup/retail stores that best suits your own skin tone, features & age

 

Models required:
Day 1 – No models required – you will work on yourself.
Day 2 – Model required at 11 am (Any age – your choice – day or evening look)

Student Requirements:

Head band
Bring a notepad and pen to take notes
Please arrive with a clean, makeup free face
Wear a strapless top or dress to allow for working on your neck and décolletage area
Bring these basics along – mascara, make-up brushes (Professional set of quality make-up brushes can be ordered ahead of course, cost $55*)
Please note that false lashes can be purchased directly through your tutor for a low cost.
